Olivia Lorenz, Staff Reporter
Olivia is a sophomore at SHHS whose interest in Journalism was piqued when she saw it on her course selection sheet. She had to see what it was about. Considering it’s her first year taking the class, she hopes it can be a class she’ll enjoy substantially. She’s driven to spread awareness and share interesting and insightful stories throughout the community. Olivia has always enjoyed reading a good story, ones that garner strong emotions and can be talked about time and time again. She looks forward to being able to write stories that encourage these strong emotions, hopefully getting others to talk about serious topics as well as being able to have others relate heavily to her interests. Other than journalism, Olivia also does snowboarding, participating in the Ski and Snowboard club for the first time this year. In her free time, Olivia likes to work, sleep, travel, read, and talk with her friends.
