James Isakson, Staff Reporter
James wants to be able to help others with support and encouragement. He also wants to make others aware of discrimination against LGBT individuals, by sharing stories of what he has heard and statistics from national surveys. He will be in Spotlight until the end of the 12th grade. While working for Spotlight, James wants to focus on photography/graphic design and LGBT stories and information.
James is good at photography and graphic design. James has several hobbies and interests including photography, painting, computer building, and software development. Even when James was young, he enjoyed taking apart electronics, from computers to VCR players. He also enjoyed photography. His interest in photography grew as he got older, finally purchasing a Canon PowerShot in 2019, as a way to motivate himself to continue his interest in photography, while also having high quality photos.
