Cole Whalley, Staff Reporter
Cole from the Class of 2025 is new to Spotlight as of the 2022 to 2023 school year. He decided he wanted to join during his sophomore year after overhearing some conversations about Spotlight in his History class and then subsequently checking out the spotlight153 website. He wanted to try something new because “Well you only live once. And you’re only in high school once. I’m trying to make the most of my time.” Cole is very interested in technology. He plays video games in his free time and is pretty tech-savvy. Cole has been interested in photography since around 2018 when he and his family took a trip to Niagara Falls in Canada. Niagara Falls is a great place to take pictures and he managed to get some amazing pictures using his blue-colored iPhone 5c as his camera. Cole is not part of many things inside South Hadley High School at this time. So far he is in the Video Game Club and is part of the Culinary Arts program. Cole enjoys playing video games, listening to music, watching YouTube, and talking with his friends. Cole is looking forward to getting out and taking pictures for Spotlight. He has never done anything related to journalism, so wish him luck in his journey.
