Berkshire Yogurt: A must stop shop

When I walked into Berkshire Yogurt, I was greeted by the delicious scent of frozen yogurt and cheerful fall decorations. I noticed that the entire shop was adorned with festive decor.

There were Halloween decorations such as spiders and spooky, hanging heads. There were also pumpkins for the fall and the colorful writing on the chalkboard insisted you would, “Fall in love with Berkshire Yogurt.” I thought that it was nice how festive and in the spirit of fall that the shop was.

Of course, the frozen yogurt and toppings looked delicious. At Berkshire, you self assemble your yogurt and toppings, and they had many options to choose from. The flavors included country vanilla, rootbeer float, classic chocolate, barista blend coffee, euro tart, and irish mint. In between flavors there was an option to swirl two of them together.

There were sauces, fruit, and dry toppings. Some of which included chocolate sauce, fruit juice balls, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, chocolate chips, oreos, chocolate covered pretzels, caramel-filled chocolate turtles, and much more.

The yogurt and toppings all looked and smelled amazing but that was nothing compared to the taste. I got the classic chocolate/barista blend coffee swirl with chocolate chips and it was delicious. The flavors mixed together with the chocolate chips tasted heavenly.

Berkshire Yogurt is a local frozen yogurt business that has shops in Lenox, Northampton, and here in South Hadley, MA. The South Hadley Berkshire is located in the Village commons at 15 College Street. The employee behind the register was very pleasant and polite and was glad to help out with anything I needed.

The taste of the frozen yogurt at Berkshire is amazing; however, that is not what I enjoy the most about it. I enjoy the variety of all of the yogurts and toppings. It is great that they have so many choices. All of the variety is bound to make more people happy. That is why I love Berkshire Yogurt. It is delicious yogurt with choices for everyone.
