Samantha Brault, Editor-in-Chief
Samantha has been apart of spotlight for two years, and was a contributing writer last year. Through her AP English class last year, she became interested in writing for the newspaper, and contributed three articles. She greatly enjoys writing outside of journalism, with research style papers being her favorite. For the newspaper, she loves to write informative news stories, as well as feature stories. One of the things that Samantha likes most about journalism is that she gets to write about what the students and teachers of SHHS are concerned about, and put their ideas out there. She is very proud of Spotlight for the freedom it gives her, as it is a completely student run publication.
Outside of journalism, Samantha played varsity field hockey for four years, and loves to run, and play raquetball and basketball. To relax, she likes to read, watch movies, and hangout with family. After high school, she plans to attend a four-year college, double majoring in history and journalism.
