Nick Woloszyn, Staff Reporter
Nick’s interest in spotlight started when he took journalism class and that’s when he first discovered the magazine. He became very interested in becoming a better writer so he tried writing for spotlight. What drives Nick to be a journalist is his perseverance in finding the truth in his writing. Nick also has been doing baseball at South Hadley ever since he was only 5 years old. He plays first base and outfield but he was unable to play freshman year because the season as well as the school year was cut short due to COVID-19. But he hopes he can play once again in the spring and get back to the grind.
Nick also has worked at a couple of different jobs over the last few years. He worked at Big Y for over a year and a half as a bagger and as somewhat as an intern. Over the summer he worked with his friend detailing cars and did yard work jobs for his friends and family. He wants to work at Gamestop when he turns 16 because he has a deep love for video games. Nick also likes to play with his dog Luigi, as well as spend time with friends and family. He also loves basketball and is pretty good but is still a long way from playing on a team again.
Nick also loves to watch movies and TV as well as a variety of Youtube videos. Some of his favorite movies include Avengers Endgame, Goodfellas, Django Unchained, and (almost every) Star Wars movie. Some of his favorite TV shows are The Office, Haunting of Hill House, and Avatar the Last Airbender. Some of his favorite Youtubers are Flightreacts who likes to play NBA2k21, New Rockstars who do movie breakdowns and analysis, and PewDiePie who does reaction and gameplay videos. He also finds cameras interesting and hopes one day to either work on a movie or become a photographer of some sort.
