Julia is a junior here at South Hadley High, and is a self-proclaimed "performing arts enthusiast." She takes part in every music department activity, as she plays clarinet and saxophone in the department's many bands, acts and directs with the Harlequins, and sings the alto part with concert choir and vocal roar. She is also very passionate about activism, and works with groups like the environmental club and the newly formed Student Union to create change in her community. She spends her time with friends, listening to music, and making funky earrings when she isn't swamped with schoolwork. She is so excited to work with Spotlight this year, and hopes to start important conversations with her work, as she believes that there are many things that simply are not talked about enough.
